These handmade slippers are created in our solar powered studio in Byron Bay, Australia. We believe that good quality products shouldn’t cost the earth, which is why we use upcycled materials and power our production with solar energy. Each pair of Upcycled Slippers are unique and will differ slightly from the images seen above here.
Materials & Design
We use a durable, hard wearing stretch denim on all of our slippers. You can choose from leather soles or upcycled extremely hard wearing vegan rubber soles. Style your slippers in a range of soft cotton linings and finish them off with a matching denim pull tag or accented with a patterned pull tag. These pull tags offer independence and ease of use for little fingers.
The unique design of our slippers have extra layers of denim fabric at the toes to extend the slippers life. They are produced with hard wearing industrial stitching and are built to last. Children’s slippers are elasticated to stay on.
We endeavor to hand make these slippers at an affordable cost for you, whilst maintaining ethical production, hence the vegan rubber sole is our most affordable range. It is long lasting and a natural material that is a very sustainable choice. Our high quality leather comes from an ethical source who, like us, are committed to the environment and sustainable practices.
Inspired by a mothers need for durable slippers, I decided to create my own. They needed to be soft yet long lasting, easy for little fingers to put on and gorgeous. Having a hard wearing child, I knew I needed the slippers to stand up to racing, running, skipping and jumping- stresses an adults footwear doesn’t see. My slippers quickly became a cottage industry and I made some decisions about how I wanted to operate. I wanted to create something that is ethical, so I used upcycled materials instead of new. I also wanted to make them affordable so I have kept my prices as low as possible and offer generous discounts for Class Orders. Each pair of slippers is handmade in our solar powered studio with care and love. I love to create and weave all these elements together. I hope you adore them just as I do.

These slippers are the best slippers we’ve come across so far. We have quite a fussy daughter who will only wear slippers that are perfectly comfortable. We’ve tried lots of options and these slippers were successful with our daughter and also met our needs for being natural fiber, practical and well wearing. We might even get another year out of them if she doesn’t grow out of them first which we think is pretty good going.
