100% Handmade

These handmade slippers are created in our solar powered studio in Byron Bay, Australia. We believe that good quality products shouldn’t cost the earth, which is why we use upcycled materials and power our production with solar energy. Each pair of Upcycled Slippers are unique and will differ slightly from the images seen here.

Materials & Design

We use a durable, hard wearing stretch denim on all of our slippers. You can choose from leather soles or upcycled extremely hard wearing vegan rubber soles. Style your slippers in a range of soft cotton linings and finish them off with a matching denim pull tag or accented with a patterned pull tag. These pull tags offer independence and ease of use for little fingers.

The unique design of our slippers have extra layers of denim fabric at the toes to extend the slippers life. They are produced with hard wearing industrial stitching and are built to last. Children’s slippers are elasticated to stay on.

We endeavor to hand make these slippers at an affordable cost for you, whilst maintaining ethical production, hence the vegan rubber sole is our most affordable range. It is long lasting and a natural material that is a very sustainable choice. Our high quality leather comes from an ethical source who, like us, are committed to the environment and sustainable practices.

Our soft soled shoes offer the space, safety and warmth for growth and healthy exploration. A good slipper allows a curious soul to dive deeply into whatever they’re doing, with little thought of their slipper. From an Anthroposophical perspective, warm feet support a child to grow into an emotionally warm and empathetic adult. Safely tucking the toes into soft inviting slippers prevents knocks and hurts, welcoming confidence to play and learn with ease. The warmth and affection received as we grow nourishes the child in such a way they are inspired to be their full and whole self. The sole of the foot can be said to represent three areas: the heel representing the will, the middle arch area the feeling, and the front and toes the thinking.

    These are so durable, comfortable and super cute!
    I would recommend getting a size up though so that you can wear socks with them if your feet get quite cold
